The DeKalb County Swim Team places the safety and well-being of our athletes, coaches, and volunteers as our top priority. Together, we can make safety a shared responsibility and a cornerstone of our team culture.

How to Report

To deal with a Safe Sport concern, contact USA Swimming at (719) 866-4578, or text anonymous tips to (888) 270-7946

Contact the U.S. Center for Safe Sport to make a report. Call (833) 587-7233 or use the online reporting form linked below

SAFESPORT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

All adult non-athlete USA members and USA athlete members over the age of 17 are required to complete Athlete Protection Training (APT) annually (within 365 days of the date of their last APT).


Check out the Safe Sport trainings within your USA parent/athlete account on usaswimming.org or join one of the group Zoom trainings listed below.  The DeKalb County Swim Team is aiming to be a Safe Sport Club Recognition Program participant, and as part of this program, parents and athletes complete this training.

Coaches Training:

  • Individual trainings can be taken in the USA Swimming University.


Unable to Attend Educational Opportunities Live?

If the timing doesn't work, that's ok! Login to USA Swimming University to start and complete courses at your own pace. Registration must begin through our team link to be affiliated with DCST.

Parents login to their USA SWIMS account. If both parents want to complete it, each parent needs their own USA account (free parent account) to get credit.


Athletes who are between 8-17 years old can have their own login to USA SWIMS with parent permission. This is granted on the parent's account dashboard.


Please be sure athletes login to their specific account to get credit.
