Equipment Exchange Committee
The Equipment Exchange Committee is a standing committee of the Advisory Board responsible for administering the DCST Swim Equipment Exchange Program in coordination with the Director of Competitive Swimming.

Swim Equipment Exchange Program
Competitive swimming requires specialized training equipment that changes as swimmers grow and advance. To reduce unnecessary costs and promote responsible stewardship, DCST maintains a Swim Equipment Exchange Program.

Swimmers and families are encouraged to donate clean, gently used, and serviceable equipment that is no longer needed, including fins, kickboards, pull buoys, hand paddles, center-mounted snorkels, mesh equipment bags, resistance equipment, swim caps, and other approved training items.

All DCST swimmers are encouraged to use available donated equipment whenever the need arises, including when trying new equipment, replacing outgrown items, borrowing a forgotten training item, meeting a temporary need, or reducing equipment costs.

The Equipment Exchange Committee oversees collection, inspection, organization, and distribution so that donated items are clean, serviceable, and suitable for use. The Director of Competitive Swimming or appropriate coaching staff may determine whether particular equipment is appropriate for an individual swimmer or training group. Borrowed or outgrown equipment may be returned or donated whenever practical so that it can continue to benefit other DCST swimmers.

Give when you are able. Receive when you have a need.
