EVENT STANDOUTS:
I decided to just use our Winter Classic as the main fuel for this section because I knew we would have a lot of fantastic swims, and we DID!
Lainey Person dropped a total of 38 seconds across her events, and swam the 100 fly for the first time without a DQ!!
Zoe Heredia got almost all best times. She kept a positive attitude no matter the outcome of her races as well! Fantastic job.
Benden dropped a total of 30 seconds across his events, and swam the 100 brst/ fly with NO DQ’s!
Audrey McGill dropped time in EVERY individual event, and swam the 200 IM for the first time without getting disqualified, at 8 years old!!
Ana Hall surprised herself with time drops in all her least favorite events! She dropped 8 seconds in her 200 IM alone.
Tycen McCarter joined our team this year, swam his first meet, and did not have a single DQ! Great job!
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SWIMMERS MUST GO TO 3 CLOSED YMCA MEETS, AND HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS HAVE TO GO TO 2 CLOSED YMCA MEETS TO PARTICIPATE IN DISTRICTS!!!
P.S. I am very proud of all of our swimmers this month. Having long meet weekends is tough, and they did a fantastic job. Thank you to all parents that helped at our Winter Classic. Our meets would not run without YOU!!
