DCST Claims NCISC “A” Conference Title by 816 Points
DCST won their 9th consecutive NCISC “A”
Conference title in dominating fashion. DCST finished with
2,164 points which easily outdistance second place Oswego’s
1,348 point total. This year’s point total surpassed
DCST 2008 point total of 2,131 points, and DCST also increased its
margin of victory from 675.5 in 2008 to this year’s 816 point
winning margin. One of DCST’s goals for the meet was to
have a 60% best time improvement percentage, but DCST came up just
short with a 59% time improvement rate (158 best times out of 270
swims).
DCST Highlights from the meet included the following:

5 Age Group Team Championships (8 & Under Girls, 11 – 12
Boys, 13 – 14 Boys, 15 & Over Girls, 15 & Over Boys).
Note – The DCST 13 – 14 Girls finished second by
a single point.

14 Boys 200 yard Medley Relay)

year. Rockford won the NCISC “B” Conference this
year, so they will move up to the NCISC “A” Conference
in 2010.
