DCST Open – Sunday, February 28th

            DCST will be hosting a last chance swim meet on Sunday, February 28th.  This meet will be held at the Kishwaukee YMCA.  This meet will offer all District and National events.  There is no limit on the number of events a swimmer may swim, but each swimmer may only swim each event once.  This meet is designed to give swimmers one last chance at achieving their District Qualifying Times along with a chance to swim some other events they may not have some too many times this year.  For example, swimmers may want to try for team records in events not normally offered for their age group, or swimmers may want to try to get any remaining District or State Qualifying times they need for Top Dog or Super Dog awards.  Due to the set-up of this meet, swimmers should only consider swimming one or two events.  If you swim any more than one or two events in this meet, you will not have enough rest between events to perform your best.  In order to attend this meet, you must register for the meet on-line by Saturday, February 27^th.  Swimmers may select the events they wish to swim on-line for this meet.  Fees for signing up for this meet are $3.00 per event for swimmers.  A copy of the meet packet is also on-line under the section “Coach’s Reports.”  Note – This meet will also be approved by USA Swimming.  Therefore, times achieved in the meet can be used to qualify for ISI Age Group Championships.
